I tried Amazon, but that is the only place I have heard of with a good reputation and good prices. Is there any where else? I appreciate all the help! At the school the books would cost me $445. With Amazon I'm down to $260, but I'm still looking for some better prices on some of the books. I'm looking for new or gently used books. Thanks again!

Half.com, ebay.com. Check around campus too, some students who took the course last semester may be selling their books too.

My son did much research on this, and got his best prices on Amazon.com.
It probably depends upon the subject matter; his are all mathematics and chemistry related.

try bn.com...I know they buy back old textbooks for more than the colleges do. That's where I always sold mine back to, so I am sure they sell them too.
