i HATE 8th grade, lol! well, this is how i survived the middle school, i do my homework, i study, and HAVE FUN!!! just because you're in middle school doesn't mean that you can't have fun. but, remember to get your work done too. what you need to do is to find a way to get your work done (with a B or better grade) and also have fun. you don't want to stress yourself out or make the next three years of your life a living nightmare.
if you're having trouble with any hw or subject, see if they have a homework help program or peer tutoring, if they do, sign up for it. ask 7th or 8th graders from your school on how they survived 6th grade.
good luck! don't worry, no matter how bad it seems, you'll survive.

Yes, realize it is your job. Go every day. Respect it. And, take home the bacon just as your Mum and Dad do.

Middle school is the best. 1. Your education is expanded. 2. You are learning the ins and outs of social travel and manipulation; accepting and rejecting that which does or does not work for you.

Success in middle school is often a mirror of how well you will do later in life. If for no other reason than it is one of the difficult times when everything seems to be changing and won't stand still.

I'm in eighth grade, and in my school district, sixth grade was part of elementary school. I see your situation though, but there is nothing of that sort in my school. For the most part everyone gets along, in a way. What's there to worry about? There is nothing to worry about. I don't see what the problem is. If it's older people you are worried about (such as me), ignore us and we'll ignore you. Also, plan to get good grades because that's most important (I got that coverered with straight A's).

Don't mess with the popular kids a.k.a cheerleaders and football players. Don't miss a day of school because it gets hard to keep track of homework. And hmmmmmm well I am in 7th grade and seriously I cant remember anything at all! LOL sorry!

Be yourself. It's not cool to everyone else when you first start out, but if you find out who you really are and are not afraid to show it, you'll find yourself and others loving who you are. Why try to be like everyone else just because they think that's what's cool. They're the losers not you. This is all coming from a Senior in highschool. Trust me I've been there!
