She's 80 and she'll be 81 this April. And there are people out there who want her to rule for another 20 years and believe she may live to be 100 like her mother did (she lived to 102). However, if this happens, realize people that Prince Charles may live to 100 or so and so far his abdication is unofficial. So there's a possibly Britain will have a King Charles and since he's only 58 to 59, not even 60 and Elizabeth may live 20 more years, there's a possible "King" Charles will be on the throne for 20 years!

As with others, yes, she's 80. But just to clarify, there hasn't been a Queen of England for 300 years - she's the Queen of the United Kingdom.
