Don't go overboard. You will have better results if you eat a balanced diet instead of just eating fruit. Remember that fruit has a bunch of sugar in it even if it is fructose rather than glucose.
You didn't post your weight and height, so I have no idea if you are truly overweight, or, like many 15 year olds, have bought into the unrealistic ideals of the malnourished "size 0" fashion models who have been known to literally fall over dead from starvation.
Most men prefer healthy bodies. This means curvy (not fat) with a figure that looks like a woman rather than an adolescent boy.
As for loosing weight, the best way to up your metabolism is to reduce your caloric intake and to eat 4-5 small snack sized meals per day rather than 1 or 2 larger ones. I won't ramble on about why this is so. Suffice it to say that our bodies go into fat storage mode when we deprive them of food and give it up more easily when it thinks it has resources to spare. You also need to exercise regularly. This does not mean becoming a marathon runner. A good vigorous walk or a light 20 minute workout every other day will give you excellent benefits.
And... if you haven't already seen this, I think this is something every young girl should watch.

To loose weight, you really need to eat right and exercise. Don't limit the foods to just water and fruit!.
Remember to set a reasonable goal that you can stick to.
Exercise daily. You don't have to run on your running machine. Go outside and ride your bike, or walk through the park, or do sit ups, or join a sport. Once your exercises get easier, pick it up a bit---maybe start jogging or do an extra 10 sit ups. Try to push yourself as it gets easier.
Eat right! Stay away from all the junk food and remember to eat when you're hungry!
Eat more meals, but smaller portions! Eat 5 or 6 SMALL meals a day. Remember not to skip out on breakfast and eat slowly!!
Drink lots of water or flavored water throughout the day. Sometimes when we feel hungry, we're really just thirsty.
Don't eat late at night! You shouldn't eat at least 2 hours before you go to bed.
And...stick with it!!! Yes, it's such a challenge, but you can do it!!
Best of luck to you!♥

Drinking water is a good idea. You should drink water instead of pop or juice. Eating only fruit is a terrible idea. You need to have a well-balanced diet to be healthy. You should definitely run on the running machine. Try doing it every day for at least 30 minutes. You also should try lifting weights 3 times per week.

You need to stay away from men for the time being untill you sort your head out. One night stands don't make you feel valued as a person. You are not a slag, but you are letting these men use you and that is why you feel bad. Break the cycle. Have you tried therapy? You need to change the way you see yourself in order to value yourself. I'm not saying this will happen overnight, you have to give it time. You are young and intelligent and have your whole life ahead of you. Make a decision know to give yourself the best life you can. You are not alone. You have an illness that you can recover from. None of this is your fault. You will be well again. Wow, the number of positive answers people have posted shows that people understand and care. D. X

um water and fruit are great but I think that you will need more than just that.....at least if you plan on keeping the diet for an extended amount of time.....your still very young and your body needs more than that to develop efficiently. I would add meat to your plan, at least fish. ..and carbs at least by two weeks if not before.
Here are a couple of tips that should help:
Drink plenty of water. It would be great if you could drink green tea as well.
Breathe deeply....where you can feel your stomach and lungs working.
And eat before 6 p.m..
....also you don't have to completely deprive yourself to lose weight. Just try to incorporate healthy choices daily..stay away from the more comercial, pre-fab foods along with diet or low fat foods.. Go with the natural.. All the best.

nope wont work. you need a balanced diet you want to lose weight .- don't eat any white flour or any white sugar, 2ND walk fast (power walk) 45 min. a day 3 to 7 days a week. also when you cheat on your diet and you will we all do don't get upset about it just walk a second 45 min that day and move on . fruit has a lot of carbs witch is sugar witch is stored as fat if not burnt. fruit is good for the vitamins.

Don't just eat water and fruit..it will make you hungry and could upset your balances. DO drink lots of water before you eat however to fill you up. DO eat lots of fruit and veggies. DO walk often and run (if you can..walking briskly works, too..) Be proud of your curves but eat healthily. Follow your instinct..you know that fatty foods don't do you a lot of good..but don't totally avoid them either..you are only 15 and really still growing. Don't forget lean proteins such as poultry(not fried!) and tofus..Good luck..
