When you people gonna learn to add details such as make and model? Did you read the manual and install it accordingly or just plug it in? Do your usb ports work?

It could be that you haven't loaded the drivers for the camera. There may also be a setting in the software that tells the computer how it is connected and last if you are running Windows 98 don't bother. Most things you buy that connect to your computer are not compatible with Windows 98. Hopefully your running Windows XP. Also go to the manufacturers website and check the faqs page to see about any settings you need to change and if there are any updates to the software your using.

It probably was not installed correctly..go to the manufactures web site and get the instructions/software for it.....

Your web cam to computer cable ,is Open circuit probably ,try a different cable.

un insatall 1st.remove cam from pc,insatll cd 1st den plug cam,taskbar detects new hardware,autoscan driver then reboot,if not change usb wire
