i have had glasses for a long time now, and nobody really cared at first, but u should just put ur friends on a heads up and say, hey im getting galsses. Plus, after a while pppl wont even care about them, actually now ppl say i look WIERD without my galsses. plus they are in too! you can get so manydifferent styles, even designer...so pick the ones that best go with your lifestyle. also, if they dont work out or u dont feel comfortable you can just get contacts. but having contacts is more difficult anyways. so dont worry about a thing! also glasses can be a sign for smartness, youll look smarter too! you can also get transition lenses, they change to sunglasses when you go outside, so theres another problem solved. you can get so many designs! and after a while, you wont even care! cause they are a smart and sexy accesory! no problem about it! ppl will start getting jelous about em soon! good luck and remember, they are ok and in style! and NO i would never judge someone cause of how they look thats just rude!

Don't worry about a thing! I just got glasses and I wasn't treated any differently. Pick a style that is totally you and the glasses will be like an accessory! You make the glasses, not the other way around. If everyone enjoys you and your company - the glasses are only going to be an additional accessory that will compliment you and how much everyone enjoys you!

It seems like nowadays glasses are a lot more accepted and fashionable. Pick frames that go with your senese of style or if you don't want them to be so noticeable, there are rimless glasses and you can hardly tell a person is wearing them unless you get up close. Of course, there's always the option of contact lenses. Have you thought about that?

Every once in awhile I hear some crap about me because a few people seem to think I look like an adult aged dork in my glasses.
