when does the season start beacuse im getting tired of watching hockey highlights on tv, thats all they show here in canada, hockey.

Spring training starts around March 15th

Seasn starts with an exhibition game, mets vs someone in Tokyo. Then a las Vegas exhibition game, both of these are on television.
Then april 1st will be the first game of the season... schedules are not out yet, but it will be the Cardinals (World series winner) versus a division rival. Hopefully the cubs, go cubs.

April 1st then usually they have the next day off, then play again.
They report to spring training in the middle of February.
They play spring training games all of March!
Its comming up
They also take usually 3 weeks I believe out of the offseason, the whole team gets together, and they play then as well, but just as a team.

April 3rd would be the latest date.

baseball season is all year, hot stove, arizona fall league, many winter leagues in central and south America then spring training.
