I would like to hear of some real examples from life of people who just went to live in some woods and actually found somebody anyway.

St. Alex, became a hermit to escape a marriage he didn't want, and he became a holy man giving all away, and living in poverty.
Most hermits give up or run away from marriage proposals.

Most hermits do not have girlfriend or boy friends. I do believe that you are confusing mountain men with hermits. Now mountain had wives mostly Indian wives.. And yes they even had children.And they traded with Indians to get supplies. But a hermit is someone that chosen to live alone and they had very little contact with other human beings and modern science and they like mountain learn to live off the land. And some of them only come back into civilization to get several book of matches and nothing else............. And those hermit that were captured and placed into mental hospitals died with-in a very short period of time............ P.S. Many off those hermit that was randomly picked up by the police turned out to be people that that have been place on the list of missing people for years. And I was surprise to find out that there were just as many women as there was man that were hermits....................................

I am a hermitt. I have a sheep girlfriend. I am cheating on her though with Thumpers ole lady. She's easy.
