Not if you are trying to kill time at work and still appear busy. It works for me. It also has therapeutic qualities.

I only answer questions that I think I can honestly help...well other than this one, but in a way I'm helping I think.
If the question is really stupid I won't waste my time, but if the person seems to really need help or doesn't have any answers I will answer if I know and if not I'll do some research...
I've had questions not answered and it really upset me because I answer people all the time...oh well...
some people need to do research before asking though....

I've learned alot of valuable information from other people and it's fun to get a Best Question every now and then. It's nice when your opinion matters. I don't think it's a waste of time.
