I have a watch with a leather strap around it, i think people classify them as rocker watches, And well, the leather part is starting to smell really bad. I have had the watch for about 9 months.... and i want to keep wearing it but i dont know what to do

You just have to buy a new watch band preferably one that's not leather. The leather is asorbing the oils, sweat, and bacteria from your skin and causing the odors. You just can't clean them well enough to remove the odors. That's the reason I quit wearing watches with leather bands. Beside I think a metel band looks much classier than a leather band. Happy New Year.

I have heard that odor is very difficult to get rid of in especially leather. You could buy a new band for your watch! If you don`t want to do that try not wearing it for awhile and put the band in baking soda enclosed in a plastic bag and maybe that will work! Good Luck to you and the watch! You could also try saddle soap but when you are trying all of this let your leather band air out okay!

Your wrist is perspiring and the leather is absorbing the odor. I would invest in a new watch band. They are not expensive. Go to a watch repair place or Sears watch dept.
