God has a son. What different religions name them matters little. What matters is that they believe there is a God and adore him.

no you`ve got mixed up sorry, only Christians say Jesus is the son of god (this was actually put in the Bible by the Catholics )before then the bible only said he was the word of God .
Mohammed is the last prophet according to the Koran and to Muslims Jesus is an earlier prophet than Mohammed
The Jewish faith says there is one God
The Christian faith says there is God the Father and God the son (Jesus)
the Muslim faith says there is one God but recognises Jesus and Mohammed as the prophets of God but sees Mohammed as more important because he was the last .

I don't think Muslims believe Mohammed was the son of Allah (God) just a really decent guy - same as what the Jews think about Jesus. Jews are certainly waiting for the first coming (as oppose to Christians who are waiting for the second) - not sure what Muslims are waiting for. Perhaps any Muslims reading this Yahoo Q&A will enlighten us. Please do.

ok you seem to have mixed up religions somewhere along the line.
christians believe jesus was the son of god and was born to a virgin named mary. they believe he is the messiah.
muslims believe jesus was real and worked for god but wasn't his son. they believe jesus was a prophet.
muslims also believe mohammed was a prophet. they believe he was the last prophet.
i hope this helps.

I think it's all a question of translation...'God', 'Mohammed', both are a 'Supreme being', it's just a question of translation. If you believe that there is a Deity controlling our destinies, in one language he/she/it is called 'God', in another the name is 'Mohammed', or maybe 'Allah' or 'Jehovah'. ALL religions have a different name for the unseen unknowable person/thing in control.....could it possibly be the same person/thing all the time? Think on that....if everybody was really worshipping the same being.........just calling him/her/it a different name......how easy would it then be to resolve the so many theological problems around the world?

He's not the son of Mohammed! He is mentioned in the Koran, though, as a prophet.

Hey crusty I have cursed religion and its idiot followers for 16 years now . There is no Jesus or Mohammad or any God on this rock . Maybe if each religion did not call its own people the CHOSEN ONES and all have some silly book to back up the claim , then its possible you might stand a chance of convincing me we should not Bomb the terrorist back to the stone age . I have punched more people who believe in God in the mouth then you have fingers and toes .
It all crap sold to the ignorant fools who are incapable of deciding anything for themselves .
They need people like me to tell them what to think and do .
If not they can just curl up in a ball and die .

I believe it's the difference between religions. Muslims believe Jesus is just another prophet and Muhammed is the true son of God. Christians believe the opposite.
