What in the hell is a republican and what the hell is a democrat..I admit I don't care about politics but I want to know what is the difference between the two....someone care to fill me in??

Republicans think people should take responsibility for their own needs. And government should butt out of it.
Democrats think people need help. And government should step in.
Republicans think business should compete without government interference.
Democrats think business should compete fairly. And government is the one to decide what's fair.
Republicans think the government can be trusted to use its power wisely.
Democrats distrust the men who run government.
Republicans think that a college education should be paid for by the student and their family.
Democrats think that a college education is so important that the government should help to pay most of the costs.
Republicans think that paying for health care should be up to you.
Democrats think the cost of health care is too high for most people government should do what it can to help.
