I do readings for people quite often. I charge $30 for a half hour session and $60 for one hour. Those prices are pretty consistent for what is the going rate in my area.

I also run "Tarot Parties" where people get together to socialize and have mini readings. As part of the party, I donate a large portion of the proceeds to the charity of their choice.

I also have a personal code of conduct wherein I won't accept any money if the person is not happy with their reading. I never had anyone tell me they weren't happy with the reading, or that they did not feel it was very accurate and meaningful. so far . But having that personal policy is important to my integrity as a reader.

For what its worth, I think that its fine to go for readers from time to time but be careful of your own motivations. I would not recommend going if you want someone else to tell you how to live your life or how to control someone else's actions (eg love spell etc)

Your life is in your hands and you are the only one who has to live with the consequences of your actions, not the reader.

I hope that helps!

I've been to many psychics to see how accurate and phony they are. I have had somewhere between 7-12 readings within the past 7yrs.
You really need to try all different kinds to find out what ones are beneficial and what ones aren't. Some are very advance, some focus on different aspects, and some just want you're money.
First off a real psychic shouldn't ask for that much cash, and actually there not really supposed to be charging for it. They are supposed too help people the best way they can. Sometimes that's how they make a living so they do charge. For a normal taro reading... you should pay no more than 20 bucks. If it's more intricate than they will charge more money for it.
And secondly you never tell them what's going on in you're life. That's how you can tell if their for real or not. I hope that I helped you out, and good luck!

I've never paid for one but I do readings and interpretations in my area. Because I do it as an avocation I don't charge a set fee. I've recieved anything from $25 to a nice dinner to a hand dipped scarf in exchange for my readings.

In the past I have also done 'parties' where I do smaller readings for larger groups of people, usually as a favor to another reader friend of mine. Those are great fun as you get to meet a lot of people at once and are usually fed an watered as well. The parties I have read at are paid for by the host/hostess. Sometimes they split the cost among the people at the party and sometimes they pay for it themselves.

People tell me that my readings are accurate, "scarily accurate" to quote more than a few people. In my experience the best readings are with people who have an open mind and who are willing to deviate from their prepared topic. More than once I've had someone ask a partiuclar question but the cards they choose are relating directly to something else in their lives.

Psychics can't give you guidance on how to live your life so try not to have that expectation. The future isn't written yet and life is very fluid. We can give you people and events to look out for, and perhaps a different insight as we have developed certain innate skills more than others.

Blessings,
Zimmi

I've been to a psyhic once, back in the 1980's, I guess I was about 22 yrs old. I'm now 43 yrs. The psychic told me that I would have a daughter that would love me forever, and I do. My child is the best thing that ever happened to me (she's 9 yrs old now). She also said she wasn't sure about my son, she said she could see a boy in my future, but not sure about him. Well in 2005, I got pregnant again, and it was a boy, he didn't make it, he got wrapped up in the cord at 8 1/2 months.

So somethings are meant to be, just like somethings are meant to be said and some aren't, that's all I can say. I hoped I helped in some way. Take care.

those are not truly kinds of psychics according to say, relatively categories of money making strategies for being psychic (or phoney psychic in maximum situations). Are you intuitive, empathic, clairvoyant?

Well, one of my best friends is a clairvoyant and tarot reader, etc. And I see her all the time.
When she actually does readings for me, she is very helpful, and helps steer me in the right direction.
Kind of like seeing a counselor.
Peace

Once at a fair, nothing was accurate, but that is what I get for paying someone at a fair.
