is there a way to get a free dial up connection without a checking account ? its just temp. until i get my cable bill payed off so i can get cable internet i dont have any internet connection right now and i do have access to a computer that has a cd burner on it with internet

If you are a student at a university like I am you may be able to get free access. I get free dial-up. It is slower, but it is a lot better than not having access.
