Nah. Just don't let them pour the liquid nitrogen over your vaginal lips from a thermos. One slip and your whole crotch freezes, cracks and falls off.
(Seriously - you've got nothing to worry about.)

Have you ever been really cold and then entered a toasty room? Getting your warts frozen feels a bit like that. You'll get this tingly, burning sensation that will last for a few minutes. Liquid nitrogen is what is used to freeze the warts. There is a bit of discomfort with each area treated, but the discomfort subsides quickly. Sometimes one visit clears up the warts, sometimes multiple treatments are needed. Visits will normally be spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart. What you have to worry about more than getting the treatment is not getting treated and having the warts spread. So just relax, take your Xanax as prescribed and keep your appointment with your doctor. Once the warts are gone, you'll be glad you got them treated! P.S. HSV (herpes simplex virus) is behind these warts, NOT HPV (human papilloma virus)!

No, genital warts are not related to infertility (if that is in fact the case with you; 4 years is not that long for a large number of people even though it feels that way).
Instead of focusing on what you imagine will happen, focus instead on the day after. Then work out how long it is from right now until then. You will see that the whole thing will be over and done with before you know it. And it won't be nearly as awful as you are probably imagning; possibly just a bit uncomfortable but then so many things in everyday life are. This will be no worse.

I have had many warts removed, although never on my genitalia. Any wart removal is painful, but worth it! I can not emphasize this enough because of HPV which leads to cerval cancer and the fact that they spread. I neevr knew that they can burn off genital warts; which proves we learn something new everyday. I wish you the best of luck. It's normal to be nervous or scared, but just think positive.
One thing you should ask is if they have numbing cream! My last doctor put numbing cream on 15 mins before he was going to give me the shot and burning- I seriously did not feel a thing! You should call and see, maybe find out if you can come early and if they could apply some of the cream beforehand!

You have to be careful of the genital warts if you plan to get pregnant. When pregnant they can show up and they will grow to a larger rate. When I was in the Army a friend had them, she was pregnant and they were big. Her doctor said that its not harmful for the baby but it is uncomfortable for you to have them.
Genital warts is a sexually transmitted disease so you got it from someone. It shows up more on the women physically than it does on the men but you got it from some guy, husband, whoever and you can give to your husband if he doesn't have it already.
The drops are like acid and they burn them off. I don't know how that chemical will react when you are pregnant if you have another outbreak. Genital warts never totally go away, they lay dorman under the skin for years.

Unless the Dr. is an idiot, you have nothing to worry about. There is very little pain and the spots where they come out will heal pretty quickly. The biggest risk is that you may have to come back for a second (or more) treatments if she misses some or doesn't get them completely; this can happen even in the best of circumstances, so don't yell at the Dr. if it does. And while I'm not your Dr. I wouldn't be surprised if she recommends more frequent pap smears than usual because papillomavirus increases the risk of cervical cancer.

I would worry about NOT getting it done. If not treated, you will end up with cancer. I've had warts on my hands and feet froze off and it was somewhat painful and stings for a few minutes. I've had cryocautery on my cervix after having a pap show precancerous cells and it wasn't bad at all. It'll take a while to heal so the baby-making will need put on hold. Have you had a thorough exam, pap came back ok? I wonder if your infertility and the genital warts are related.

Nope! You may have some mild discomfort during the procedure, however most say that it's nothing to awful. They may ask you not to have sex for 48-72 hours after the freeze. But, your gonna be just fine (at least with the procedure). And nobody thinks your whore just because you have genital warts (most likely caused by HPV), it happens to the best. Take a deep breath! Let it out slowly!

well I haven't ever had this done in that area - but I had a planters wart "burned" off when I was about 8 and it really wasn't that bad.
It's actually a really cold liquid that they apply to the wart with a q-tip. It feels really really cold and then burns a little but I really don't think you have to worry. If they are giving you Zanex to take the edge off you should be fine.
I took Zanex once - it knocked me out!

I wouldn't worry. Some times genital warts appear because you contracted it by using a public washroom that wasn't properly cleaned.
If you are married and haven't cheated on your husband, genital warts are nothing to be ashamed of. You are not a whore and any illeducated moron who says so should not be paid attention to.
It may sting a little and be sore for a small period of time. Other then that you have no reason to worry.

I had the same thing, and I don't believe you have anything to worry about. Of course, that might not be true, depending on how long you've had them and not had them treated. I caught mine VERY early, and ended up getting pregnant several times. The procedure doesn't really hurt either. Just need to wear a pad for a couple of days.
