the wii. its so much fun to play. i play it every single day seriously. i got the wii at http://www.doiop.com/wiii for a bargain which means it beats the price of the ps3 even more. the ps3's got some glitches too they need to fix.

I've been a playstation fan for a long time, and I just bought my girlfriend a Wii for the holidays. Having said that, the two systems are not even comparable. They're so completely different. The Wii is a lot of fun for people that have a gaming history or people that have never played games in their lives. Her 80 year old grandfather was playing the Wii with us. If you're a gamer though, the Wii SUCKS for cross console games. I tried to play Madden on the Wii. I got through 3 quarters before I turned it off. There are too many functions that Madden needs that can't be offered by the Wii controllers. It might be ok with the Wii classic controller, but I don't even know if that's an option. I've run into the same problem with every cross-platform game that I've played. The moral of the story is that the Wii will be a sweet platform with games that are made only for the Wii. If you're looking for solid games that you already know (like Madden, for example), go with the PS3.

Don't listen to the people who say PS3 because the Wii-Remote breaks easily and slips out of your hands. This is bogus. That only happens to people being overly aggressive. THe Wii-Mote is actually very durable.

There hasn't been any recalls in Michigan or anywhere else. Nintendo is replacing wrist straps from the launch systems w/ the thinner cord. You can go to nintendo.com and get new ones free of charge.

The PS3 is too expensive. It is not worth getting yet, wait until a price drop. I would get a Xbox 360 intead.

Someone said the PS3 is basically a computer. This is stupid. It has a web browser that sucks. If you can afford a PS3, you probably have a computer. This function is totally worthless.

Get a Wii. It's fun for everyone and is an innovative way to play.

Okay, since I don't know what you're comparing to between the wii or the PS3, I'll assume you're asking what would be better for you to buy.

If you want to empty out your wallet, get the PS3. If you wanna have fun and are looking for something new and interesting, get the wii.

I would get the PS3, it is much better than a WII. It has a hard drive, card readers, wifi and is basically a computer. The WII is more targeted for the younger gamers.

PS3 because there has been some reports of people being punched by people playing Wii. Also we peple play the Wii they have been swinging the remote and it flying out of their hands.

Depends...Wii is much cheaper and much more compatible, but the PS3 has much better graphics...and is like a computer. In my opinion i like the PS3 better...but u should get more specific on what YOU like to play, and the details you like in game consoles.

U know what, they r both good, they are both fun 2 play and both graphics are deaseant, yes the ps3 cost more but the graphics r better and its games r more advanced, and the wii controllers kick @ss, plus it is cheaper and comes with a game,
