How will the gators speed match up withe OSU?

Gators win by 10 because of their defense. They will be tied at half time then the gators will get a touchdown and the stop osu then get a field goal and the game is over.

Quite a bit of Florida pride on the site today.
SEC is the best conference, but we've seen that they don't really have more speed than any other conference. Nebraska, Penn State, Wisconsin all matched up well with "speedy" SEC teams.
OSU has too many weapons on offense. They can run with speed and power. They can throw to RBs, TEs, WRs; short or long. And Smith can run at any time even with a spy on him. The
OSU offense simply cannot be stopped. OSU has speed and depth at every position.
Florida is a great team, but their offense has been inconsistent all season, and while the OSU defense is not great, it is very good.
Throw in Superior special teams and it is hard to see how Florida could win. Meyer is brilliant, and Florida is skilled enough to make this close (maybe), but I would bet OSU wins by 10.

I am a huge fan of the Florid Gators, but Ohio State is going to win this game.It is going to be a very close game Ohio State's speed versus the Florida Gator's defense, but Ohio will leave the field with the win.
My Prediction: Ohio State 24 Florida 21

Quite well. The Florida run defense will hold Pittman to something like 60 YD on 15-20 carries. The Defense will also make sure Troy Smith stays in the pocket unless he wants a personal meeting with some grass. The only thing they will get challenged with is trying to stop the G&G brothers (Ginn and Gonzalez) On offense they REALLY need to get the running game going to take pressure off Chris Leak and open up Dallas Baker, Andre Caldwell, Percy Harvin, etc etc.....

every person keeps asserting Florida beat OSU -yet that may not fullyyt actual. OSU lost the sport -all on their own. do not provide the Gators credit for OSU not enjoying on the point they're able to. For in spite of reason, the relaxing Bunch did not teach the keenness & intensity they have shown all season. That became a greater subject for them than the GAYtors.

I think Florida can win this game. I know OSU is so good on both sides of the ball, but Florida wins ugly, no matter who they play. With big plays and turnovers they'll stay in it. Speed wise their about equal.

Ohio State won't be able to hang with the Gators speed, look what happened to the supposedly No.1 defense(Michigan) got their *** whoop... Look at the bowl results of each opponents, and their respected conferences, and Florida's number and you'll see on the 8th, their play is better. GO GATORS!!!!
