If people are freely entering into the relationship and nobody's rights are being infringed upon, there is no reason it shouldn't.

The problem is that polygamy is frequently used as a tool to oppress and abuse women, because of this aspect it probably should not be legalized.

If you want it legalized then it needs to work both ways!!! What's good for the goose is better for the gander!

Yes they should. What consenting adults do is no one's business. Why do we live in a country that PRETENDS to be so socially conservative? The porn industry rakes in billions per year. People need to figure out what the big issues are and leave the other ones alone.

Of course!

What consenting adults do is none of anybody else's business. Not the government or anybody else. If ten guys want to marry a woman so be it, if ten women want to marry a guy, good for them!

What is it to anybody else what everybody else does?

Government has no right telling consenting adults what they can and cannot do in the bedroom. Marriage is a religious concept, and should be handled in the Church, not by government.

You know more than one wife or husband around the house to help with the kids, helping with house work, helping with income... I can see that as being nice.

I think I actually agree with Ri.

Why should any sex act be criminalized, anyway? As long as one of the parties' consents, what the heck. Who cares about what kind of society our children grow up in, anyway? Children are expendable...

No. I heard the argument that it is the same as same sex marriage but it is not. Many of these polygamy relationships involve abuse and pedophilia.

I think every woman should have at least two husbands to wait hand and foot for her.

But otherwise, no Alex.
