Colloidal silver. It is an anti bacterial. Snort it up the nose, two, three drops twice a day. The croupy cough is caused by the infection within the nose that is dripping down back of throat. The silver will kill the infection and then your body will heal the cough. You can also drink some herbal tea, go to a bulk seller of herbs, and get wild cherry bark, and OSHA root, they are bitter, so put honey in it. This will help with the viral aspect and will help in drying up the nose

I like to boil a pot of water then add some Vicks and lean over it with a towel over my head. For the croup, my doc always said to breath in cold air but I like the steam :)

you can use a vaporizer with Mentholatum oils or use boiling water with Vick's Mentholatum in the water and put a towel over your head, and breath in the vapors,( make sure you turn off the stove as to not start yourself on fire.) this will clear out your sinus's and help you to breath much easier.

my husband swears by garlic! slice a clove thinly and put under your tongue (like a thermometer) for 5 whole seconds (I'm talkin the one, one thousand approach) then dispose of it. That and drink lots of vegetable stock with pressed garlic (of course!) and water to flush it and burn it out. Sounds strange ,but my husband has never had a cold longer than 2 days!Seriously!

My grandmother had sinus troubles. She used fresh urine, and put it up the nose like cokaine. She says it works, she even made a prescription for it. Grandmother was a docter.
