When I play a song off the computer on Lime Wire, it doesn't play. When I play a song on Yahoo!Music I can't hear anything. My speaker is pluged in good and I turned the sound up really loud.My computer is almost a year old.I have Lime Wire 4.12. When I'm playin a game on the net, I can't hear the sound effects.I can hear stuff well when I'm playing a PC game. I'm not deff. I'd appreciate help!

Restart your Computer. i had that SAME exact problem with Lime wire. It works..

Sounds more like a sound card problem. Check the manufacturers website for an updated driver for your operating system. If the sound is integrated onto your mobo then look into getting a cheap sound card somewhere.

I have limewire and my main problem is the songs skip and pause all the way through.....
maybe that's the prob?
download itunes and just put the songs from limewire into itunes to play..
fixed my problem.

press start button on your computer and than go to control panel and go to sounds and tones, and there should be a box that you check to and it will make the volume go up high med or low!

click on the speaker icon in the bottom left on the start task bar maby one of them if on low or off

your computer suckss is it a dell? because if it is then it sucks!!!
usually limewire downloads viruses with it when it downloads music , same problem happened to me so i had a solution, i got an ipod/mp3 player and i got music on my cpu in it so if i cant listen to it then i just usse my mp3!!!
and games for pc come with their own sound system!!!
if limewire doesnt work then get ares or kazaa or napster!!!

Most of what you download on Limewire are viruses. Downloading music is illegal.
