Hi,

It depends if you want to travel directly or if you wish to go on a tour on the way.

If you want to go on a tour, there are a few companies that do Istanbul to Cairo tours via Jordan, Syria etc such as Kumuka Overland tours www.kumuka.com

Otherwise, the only other method would be to travel independently through Jordan, Syria and then into Turkey. You would have to apply for your visas though - but it depends how confident you are in travelling this way - I have gone on a tour of all these countries but it would take some confidence just to do it for the first time ....

It is a tough question - my friends flew from Cairo to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines (Egypt Air do it as well) Sometimes they have some good specials ( I think it cost them about $200 to go there)
check it our on www.kayak.com

Anyway, hope that helps a bit
