My friend is recently obsessed over those scratch lotto tickets, and it got me thinking- if I won on that $800 million ticket, what would I get?
Now, I want to ask all of you, if you won $800 million what would you do with it?

Well $800 million dollars is a ton of money so first I would give at least $200 million of it to charity because they really need money. Next I would put $500 million of it into a checking or savigns account so that I could have easy access to it whenever I needed it. Finally I would use the remaining $1 million dollars for spending!

Buy my dream home, set up a trust fund for my daughter, pay for my sister's advanced studies, maybe set up a fund for her and her children. Hire someone to care for my animals and travel to all the places I've always wanted to see. With that much money, I could probably get all that and do a lot of charitable donations, maybe set up a foundation to support my favorite causes. There are so many things, and I'm sure that once I had that kind of money, more would occur to me. Nice to dream about it, even if briefly.

Give my parents what they have always wanted, put aside college money for me and my sister. After that, I'd donate to charities around the world. The Red Cross, different organizations in Africa, and other places.

I would try really hard to keep it to myself for about a month (if that's even possible), while I got my finances in order (i.e.: paid off my debts, visited a financial advisor), then I would buy a new house, car etc and treat my family.
