You can become an Economics or Mathematics teacher. After completing your B.A, you have to get your teacher certification, which can take anywhere from a semester to 1 year. You also have to take the Praxis Exam. Each state has different requirements.

Good Luck!

It all depends on the State in which you want to work because the certification requirements vary widely. Generally speaking, you need a Bachelor's in a "certifiable area" in order to be accepted into a teacher training program. But there are some states that allow those without a degree in a certifiable area to do what's called a certification only program. This bypasses the need to earn a Masters.

Sure, you CAN, if you're sure that's what you want to do. What you need depends on what state you're in. In some states, you can start as a substitute teacher right now. Most places, I think you need a 1-year certification program on top of your bachelors degree in a non-education field to become a teacher. Talk to the school district in your area, and they can fill you in on the details. People ask them about this all the time.
