I think there are others who had quality seasons, but Vince was more valuable to his team. Tennesee shouldn't have been that close to a playoff berth. Vince Young got them there.

Not me. Vince Young beat Reggie Bush but a long shot.
He lead his Tennessee Titans out of a losing streak to a 6 game winning streak. And are you crazy. A couple of wins against crappy teams! Are the colts a crappy team. When they beat the Giants the Giants were 6-4, that's not crappy. Vince Young lead the Titans to these wins and more. He definitely deserved the Rookie of the Year Award.

Numbers aren't what matters. The Titans started the season 0-5 and with Vince as the starter they were 8-3 and almost got a playoff birth. He deserves it more than anyone else. Bush isn't the reason the Saints are good, Young was the only reason the Titans were good.

not me. vince young was the right choice. titans were gonna be head to head with the lions, raiders, and browns. but because of vince young. they didnt fall into the losers category. and what do you mean by crappy teams. colts are not a crappy team. philly neither. they almost beat the ravens. jax and bills are not crappy teams eventhough they didnt make it to the playoffs. the giants arent a crappy team either. they are just slackers. titans were on a losing streak and they came back.. so whos your choice for the award?

i might say Vince youthful might desire to be rookie of the 12 months. he's an astounding participant, and has the skill to make his total group extra effective. The protection besides because of the fact the offense. he's likewise an excellent chief, and is making the comparable performs he did whilst he became in college. with out youthful the titans does not be 8-7, yet even with out Maurice Jones, who's clearly having the wonderful season out of each and all of the rookie backs, Jacksonville might nevertheless be 8-7. For a rookie QB again in on a set alongside with tennessee who lack an excellent variety of talanted gamers and do what youthful has carried out, is truley astounding.

I think Vince Young was very deserving of it. With what he had done with the team, he won lead some awesome comebacks, especially the one agains the Giants. And the Titans beat some VERY good teams.

hmmm...well, let's see. He took a winless Titans team and finished the year 8-3.
QB is the toughest position to play on the field, as every offensive play goes through the QB.
He had, by FAR the greatest direct impact on any team with a rookie.

Not me coz he beat good teams(Indy) and the team was 0-4 w/out him and was like 4-12 last year. Also Bush did nothing in New Orleans it was all Brees and Hester bis a return guy. U don't pick a return guy over a QB and oh yeah Leinart had a horrible year.
