Yes! I have been seeing ghosts since I was 5 years old! I am living in a haunted house now! My last appartment was haunted and it was right by a cemetary! I have seen plenty in my lifetime! In the house I grew up in, my Step Father passed away in his bedroom, in his sleep. Ever since he passed away we ( myself, husband, Mother, Brother, friends) have all seen him! He is seen walking by the sliding glass door in the dining room! He is seen sitting in his favorite chair! He is seen going up the stairs! this is also the house where we have heard very loude banging on the back door as if someone was afraid and really wanted to come in! When myself and my brother went to onpen the door, there was nothing there! In this house we also heard a baby screaming and there were no babies in the house! This house is located int he middle of nowhere int he woods just to let you know that it couldn't have been the neighbors baby! There are no nieghbors! In my last appartment, there is a lady in white! A little boy! An evil spirit that won't come as far as the front door! I'm not sure why, maybe the lady in white won't let him any further! In my house I live in now; just recently as last night we had activity! My husband and I had just gotten home from grocery shopping. I wwas putting the groceries away, I went to the bedroom to ask my husband a question. As we were talking we both heard foot steps coming down the hallway toward our room! There was no one else int he house at the time! Right after that we both heard someone or something whistling! I know he heard it too because, he stopped what he was saying mid-sentence to see if he would hear it again! I haden't even said that I had heard ot yet! After that We shut all the lights off and cudled up in bed! Hope this helps your curiosity! Good luck! Blessed be!

I do not know if I believe in ghosts.

That said, I know people who do, and they have "true" stories they like to tell. One person I used to know swore up and down she saw a ghostly woman standing by her kitchen sink one night when she came downstairs for a drink of water. The woman was acting like she was washing the dishes. Then she turned to look at my friend, and disappeared. Another friend of mine has a mom that swears she saw the ghost of a little boy and a woman at the hospital. They were just standing there in an otherwise empty hallway. Then she looked away, and when she looked back they were gone.

Of course, I cannot confirm or deny these stories. I was not there. There may well be logical explanations for each. Perhaps the first friend was dreaming and shouldn't have eaten that burrito before she went to bed, or maybe she was seeing things. Maybe the friend's mom only saw a reflection in a glass door, or the two "ghosts" were people who stepped away when she turned away. Who knows? I tend to be skeptical without proof or a personal experience, but I do know one thing for sure: these two people definitely believed they saw what they said they saw.

You can take this to mean whatever you want it to mean.

Yes and the shortest story I have is this -

I was visiting a family member once, they lived in a old farmhouse in the country. I stayed in the spare room and about 230am I felt something on the bed - at first I thought it was the dog and when it would not move I turned on the light next to the bed... the spot was warm, the bed had the indention of someone/something sitting on it, but there was nothing their... later that night I heard a childs cry.... and felt that "presence" again. Later the next day we went and did research on the home - turns out that inthe mid-1880's a young boy had been bitten by a snake while under the house in the crawl space (explains the crying) and that he had died in the house (spare bedroom) while in bed and being cared for by his midwife mother (explains the presence on the bed)....

there are others - but this was the more eery!

yep i'm a believer. for some reason wierd stuff seems attracted to me. never really seen the hollywood type "ghost" but a few times i've seen translucent figures , kinda like if a glass statue could move. once i was watching tv and i notice a figure standing right in front of me about a foot away, i was a bit freaked but got up the courage to kinda focus in on some features. it looked like some thirtyish black dude who, i assumed, had died pretty recently because of what he was "wearing". at the time i had music playing through the sound system, and as i tried to make out his face i heard someone say," your looking at my head "over the music. pretty crazy. not much other than that just your usuall voices when i'm alone, or the ever popular pulling of my sheets while i sleep in a dark room alone. don't really see 'em anymore but only time will tell

I believe in ghosts, there are too many accounts to not beileve.
Personally I havent seen a ghost but I have had encounters with them. When I had my first miscarriage I was in bed sleeping when I was woken up to a half awake half asleep stage. A woman was talking to me telling me that things would be alright and I would be fine. Recently I woke up in the early morning and couldnt get back to sleep. I sat down at the computer and started playing jigsaw puzzles on Yahoo. very soon I could smell my grandmothers perfume. Jigsaw puzzles were her thing that is how she passed time, doing jigsaws and watching game shows.

I had a shadow type of entity follow my mother before I was born then to her amazement when me and my brother were born we also seen it even though she had never told us about it.Then when I was a little older it followed us some more throughout many houses and it got worse when we played with the Ouija board -Than for some reason it just stopped appearing-And now I have not seen it in over 10 years..And it was a mean spirit whatever it was -because it would deliberately scare me and my brother and even a couple of our friends that were with us when these events took place(BTW we never saw they shadow alone we always had a friend or family member that would be around when it showed up)Weird huh?

Yes I have many stories. I'll tell you one.
When the ghost experiences first started, they weren't talking to us yet, just playing silly games.
I was studying in a bedroom and with pen and paper I was taking notes. I was sitting on the floor with the pen on the floor beside me. when I reached to pick up the pen it was gone.(and I was the only one in the room.) As I was looking around the room for it one of my roommates called out to ask was this my pen in the livingroom. I went into the livingroom and there in the middle of the room on the floor was my pen. I bent down to pick it up and found that is was real hot.
Anyway I went back in the bedroom with my pen and put it down on the floor beside me and started studying again. When I reached for my pen again it was gone again. Well, I got up and went to the livingroom again and there it was on the floor. When I picked it up this time, the pen was very 'cold' to the touch. In fact, frost had formed on the plunger part. So I thought I would play with the ghost. In the bedroom I would put the pen on the floor in front of me and look away and back just as fast as I could.
The pen would be gone and I would go right to the livingroom and there it would be on the floor. And when I picked it up ,it would be extremely cold or extremely hot. And the ghost and I played that game over and over again for the next few minutes. The pen got so hot that it had scorch marks on the outside. And the plastic part on the inside by the plunger had melted and no longer worked.

yes definately!
there's a ghost in my school. i had three encounters with him.
the first time i was in the bandroom hallway early before school started. i'm usually the first one in there(even b4 the teacher) so i went over to turn on the lights. halfway to the light switch and suddenly the light turned on by itself.
the second time i was typing a paper in the computer room. (no one else was around me.) and then suddenly the computer next to me turned on. i swear i didnt touch anything! and i even went to the office and asked if things were on a timer or something. they thought i was being stupid and sent me away.
the third time i walked into the bathroom and the end stall toilet flushed so i assumed someone was in there. but then i realized no one was in there. i went into the stall and then i heard the sink water running. i came out of the stall and the water, still running, turned off right in front of my eyes.

these arent very exciting ghost stories, but its still scary knowing my school is haunted.

I guess you can call spirits and ghost the same thing. One time, I swore I saw Abu Musab Al-zarqawi's shadow in my room. I've had dreams where I'd sit and chat with him, which was kinda weird, because dreams are, but he was friendly. And I did feel a tab bit sad after he was dead, he wasn't always a terrorist. I just wish he had some guidance to prevent him from becoming one.

absolutely
there are many angels, spirits, ghosts, orbs, and various supernatural or unexplained phenomena coexisting with us on this earth plane at this very moment

these entities have been a part of my life every since I can remember

let's see, I once lived in a house where a woman "known as a protector" would walk up and down the stairs that led to my childrens bedrooms when they were very young. she was in a long flowing white dress, blonde hair, and was approx in her late twenties or thirty years old, very beautiful. I got the impression that she would go into each of their bedrooms and check on them to make sure that they were safe after I laid them down for the night. she was a spirit, in the form of a young woman. these spirits tend to show up in the form of young woman and sometimes animals (usually cats) when there are young children in the home, we call them protection spirits or guardians.
