Being a photo artist with a g/f is tough when you need to get models?

Hi;

I'm a photo artist. My girlfriend models for me sometimes, but she doesn't always want to do some of the shots i want because she is self concious and is not a professional model. I talked to her about me using real models, she did not seem to happy but said she would understand. some of these models will be very attractive and my work involves body art and make up. She knows this and I can tell this will bother her. How can i help her understand she is the only girl that i would ever be with physically, emotionally and mentally? I love her and my models are just that, models, there is no attraction what-so-ever. I would never cheat on her, no matter how beautiful the model. Any advice, ladies preffered or artists in similiar scenerarios?

Maybe you should have her with you when you do the shoot. So she can physically see that you are not attracted to models. Or you could just sit her down and tell her what you just said here.

Take her out to the best restaurant you can afford. Buy the most expensive wine, steak, lobster, the works. At the end of the meal ask her, "So did you like that? Wasn't it great?" She'll say yes, and then you say, "OK, for me to have the money for us to do this again, I need to work and to work I need to hire professional models to make money. This is my living, it's what I do. It's just a job. Get it?"

She will probably change her tune.

Just the fact that you will be surrounded by women who she knows are better looking than her is intimidating. Just tell her how it is, and maybe get her involved more in your work, let her see the process and have her help out if she wants to.

and that he would never cheat on me
by showing her this she will trust you
and never doubt you
