I have a text messaging package with verizon. My friend who has cingular is sending me picture messages is that going to cost me money?

It depends on the type of package you have with verizon. I have unlimited text and pic with other verizon customers, but only a limited # for others outside of verizon. Check your plan and see, some of them may be free, but after you reach your limit then you may be paying for them.

if you dont not have a txt plan or pic plan it is .10 to send and recive a txt and .25 to send a recive a pixs message

no, it's if you are sending pictures then your charged
