Why is itunes not putting any of my purchased songs on my nano?

There must be a way to put the songs from itunes on my ipod. What is going on?

you might need to change a setting to have it auto update.

Make sure that you have the songs in the correct playlist. The songs might be downloading to another location and your i-pod is not looking for them.
