The world is filled with routine people. Plans all the time, same things to do. How does one achieve randomness? What its necessary to not feel a responsibility for routine jobs and still survive?

By not trying! As soon as you make the effort, it's a plan & not random. Even asking the question you've already lost the opportunity to be random. Even if you go out & do silly things for the sake of seeming random (like putting something ridiculous on a shelf in the grocery store where it doesn't belong...not that I've ever done that! Tee hee) you still plan to do so. You have some idea in your head before actually doing it. You could practice random acts of kindness, doing good deeds for strangers, but you would still have made a decision to do so. I don't think true randomness is possible. Even if you pull options out of a hat, there is structure to that, if you throw paint randomly at a canvas you are still deciding to make an abstract painting (& copying Jackson Pollock at that). I don't think you can think of anything random that truly is random or that hasn't been done. In fact once you've even though of it, it ceases to be random because it's a conceived idea.

At this point I'm just babbling so I guess the short answer is: you can't achieve randomness but that doesn't mean you have to be "routine" either. You can always choose to move to the beat of a different drummer. Be unique! Do silly things. Stand out rather than blend in. Hey, it's more random than following the herd...

Dump the schedules and day planners. They totally leave no chance for randomness. I do feel that there should be a certain amount of commitment, however, even though I seek randomness as well. Perhaps modification in our thinking will also help, for example, when we are on the way to that meeting that we are late for, and then we get stuck waiting for a train. Right there is the universe providing us with a moment of randomness. While we are waiting for the train, instead of watching the time, we should look around, do some breathing,LIVE IN THE MOMENT. I think that even if we commit ourselves, it is possible to incorperate randomness by living in the moment and accepting inconvienences as blessings. For total randomness during this day and age, I don't know if it is possible, since even if we did'nt have our jobs and bills to think about, what about our families and significant others? Kind of hard to be part of a group when lack of committment is what we are seeking.

You know that you are antikantian and anarchist, don't you. I recommend you to read Nietszche if you haven't yet.
Otherwise, get rich and go to the Caribean. Don't follow the steps of Nietzsche's drama.

Oh, you can also achieve it if you make your decissions tossing a coin.

It is impossible. Even the homeless man makes plans to beg, or he makes plans to gather materials. Chaos is a myth.
