Okay, I am not familiar with Runescape, so some of the specifics may not work. But I played Dragonrealms for several years (text-based MUD) and was into the roleplay rituals. Is there invisibility in Runescape? If so, have some people invisible to provide a mystical element to your wedding. If you drop an item in Runescape does it show up on the ground or is it destroyed? If on the ground, have invisible people start dropping flowers so it looks like they appear out of thin air.
Have a dance contest with prizes.
Let people pay to kiss the bride/groom (LOL!)
Writing of own vows is good...getting a person to officiate the wedding is also important. Find someone you know who you can work with to make a memorable ceremony. Also...lotsa drinks of various kinds in game. And if you can...videotape it. That'd be cool, too! Good luck and congrats!! =)
