Please, nothing corny like "ARRRGGH LANE" or anything like that. I need a BUNCH of possible pirate themed names for naming some streets. If they have some historical accuracy, such as Port Royal Court, or something like that, that would be great.

Or they could be names of famous pirates (blackbeard, etc.) or parts of a ship, etc.

Also, please don't use potentially copyrighted stuff like Jack Sparrow, or Boot Strap Bill, from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Best answer goes to the most creative and /or exhaustive list.

You can use the following suffixes: lane, road, court, street, alley, or boulevard.

I definitely think they can know names of people if they are in regular contact with them and hear their name used often enough and combined with certain actions. If I say to my dog "where`s Rosco" (my other dog) he will go and look for him and vice versa. also one of my dogs can identify colours. They have 4 rubber tug toys all the same shape and size but different colours. Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green. I put them in line and ask my dog "Where is the Blue one? or where is the yellow one and 99% of the time he picks up the correct coloured one and brings it to me. This did take a bit of conditioning him to the various colours but it does show that he can identify one colour from another in objects that are the same shape and smell. I believe dogs are much more astute than we give them credit for.
