Why do men feel the need to cheat?

Stop with the insanity. Not all men do feel that need. But honestly, the answers to that range as widely as many other answers range. It can be for different reason that a man cheats.

To be honest, one thing that you have to do is take a good look at your relationship and also your part in it. Now, even if you act wrongly, cheating is still cheating and it is wrong, yet you have to consider if you have played a big part in his being willing to do so.
This is one reason that the Bible tells us that we are not to withhold sex from our mate, lest they be tempted.

Some men are simply pigs. Some think they can get by with it. Some feel they have little to lose at home and dont care if they are found out. Some need reassurance or to feel needed or desired or appreciated or wanted. There are again, a lot of reasons. But make sure that you really look to see if you had
a hand in his doing so.

At times, the victim has a lot to do with being the victim. Just because they dont want to admit to it, changes nothing.

By the way boricua, does your cheating make you a dog too, or have you found a way to justify yourself in cheating?

Each scenario holds it's own reasoning. Not to say I have any desire or motivation to cheat on my wife but if I did, my motivation to cheat would be different than any other persons motivation to cheat no matter how similar, still different. I know people that have cheated strictly for physical relationships because their partner would hold out on them trying to use sex as leverage. Using sex as leverage against someone is like shooting yourself in the foot. U must WANT the other person to cheat on you. I know people that have cheated because of emotional needs being neglected or because they had insecurity issues and used sex with other people to re affirm their own masculinity/femininity. Treat someone like they are worthless long enough and they will seek out what they would consider positive attention through a physical relationship with someone else. Uhhh, some poeple do it out of childish anger, "You made me mad so I will show you!" Some people have a sex problem and do not know how to use their free will to overcome their physical desires or even worse don't care enough about the other person to use their will power to overcome their physical desires. There are probably a million more reasons...take your pick

Not all men cheat, not all women cheat, all people recognize someone attractive if they walk by though, it's just who has self control and who doesn't. Another reason possibly, Men cheat, their wives yell at them and stay with them, so men think they can get away with it.

However i reitterate, NOT ALL MEN CHEAT, SO DON'T LUMP US ALL IN THE SAME GROUP OF WALKING DIAPER STAINS!!!!

I would like this question better if it said, "Why do *some* men feel the need to cheat?" I do not feel that need. While I unfortunately often feel lust for other women, I don't act on those feelings. You need to associate with a better quality of men.

I really don't call that term " CHEAT " what every man does. Some of them are looking for a boost to their ego, LOVE and want a little appreciation for being just them and NOT always a provider and baby maker. When was the last time you told your man how handsome he is and complimented him on his kisses? Also whens the last time you thanked him for taking out the trash? The list goes on and on. Just remember theres always another woman that would gladly take him off your hands. You fell in love with him, didn't you?????

I think society gives them a free pass. It's ok and expected they are guys. It's the old double standard. Look at how many strip clubs etc there are for guys and there's nothing out there for women. Women feel the same why and want to cheat for all the same reasons. Also it's all about their big ego.

Women cheat too. Quite often, in fact. In fact, I'd bet that at least half the cheaters out there are women. Especially since it's easier for them to find somebody to cheat with if they have relaxed moral standards.

Men always want to be cared for like babies, but some times women get tired of Baby siting, and they end up complaining all the time. yet some women have kids to look after too. they give attention to the kids, yet the men want that same attention, they are not patient enouph, so thay end up cheating on their wives. Thats one of the reasons.

Statistically, Women are as likely to cheat as men. I think if you would review some of the sociology studies done on cheating in fact women are more likely to have prolonged affairs then men. Women tend to "need" validation and intimacy and if their relationship is lacking they are A. more apt to seek companionship while men tend to seek sex..
