I was was thinking of buying a remastered cd of one of their albums because I've been into the lately. So I was wondering what was favorite album by Rush and why?

For the safe choice, you should get Moving Pictures or Permanent Waves, but those are Not my favorites.
It's neck & neck w/ "A Farewell to Kings" & "Hemispheres" for me.

Moving Pictures. Red Barchetta is my favorite song off that album. It's one of those albums that you can listen to the whole thing over and over without having to search for the one or two good songs.

2112 is their best album. My personal favorite is Farewell to Kings. Rush was one of my favorite bands when I was in Jr. high and high school(1975-1981)

Moving Pictures is my favorite, because of the song Tom Sawyer. The whole album is great, it's one of their best albums.
