You can try putting it behind you so it won't interfere with your daily things but I don't think you can forget. Bad experiences are the ones that engrave in the back of your head whether you like it or not. When we have a phobia or something, we usually can't target what caused it, but it usually comes up to be a bad experience with it. There's some things I can never forget that I would call bad experiences. =)

It is a good thing to remember bad experiences because that is often how you learn the most about yourself and others.
To dwell on the bad is counterproductive. It will always remain a part of you, in the recesses of your mind, to surface once in awhile.
To obsess about a bad experience and make it a day to day trial for yourself is not a good thing.

No is the short answer to that. If you are over the age of three you will always retain the memory. the younger you were the more fuzzy it may become over time but it stays just like the good ones.

It isn't possible to forget, but memories can fade and become unimportant in day to day life.
Some bad experiences need to be worked out. But some are random and you can't solve them or work out why they happened.
It all depends on how bad the experiences were and how much they affected you!

I don't think you ever forget the experience but you do get past it. Time helps heal and so does talking to someone. You don't have to forgive either you just have to let it go.
