Depends on the person really. Some guys like having it touched, other don't.
As far as physical "use" it really doesn't have any. Consider this, all fetuses are the same until about 6 weeks gestation (if I recall correctly, don't quote me on the time frame) At which point if it has female choromosomes it will develop female genitalia, if male, then male. So the basic body structure is the same. That area behind the scrotum is the same region where a female has her vaginal opening. In a guy, it's just skin.

Call it the perineum, the taint, the runway, or the coffeetable, many guys can't get enough. With enough pressure, you'll indirectly stimulate the prostate, and with gentle touch you'll stimulate lots of nerve endings in the skin. Also, for some guys the idea of someone having fun in that vicinity is stimulation enough.

Any contact on an interested party by an interesting party CAN be pleasurable. It wouldn't specifically do much for me, but I would be more than happy to redirect hand, face, or whatever to better places if someone special wanted to explore there. Your spot isn't high on my wow list, but your interest might be. A lot of guys love it - in combination with other...ummm oral pleasures it's an enhancement. A mans prostate is located right in that spot and the prostate is an essential part of an explosive orgasm. So, depending on how you approach it - you can add to or prolong climax.

It's just a very sensitive area..almost as sensitive as the head of the penis..it feels great..that's about all I can tell you about it. I'm a gay male...but usually only lightly touched..like don't scrunch a handful..LOL

I've never heard of that being an errogonous zone, I guess it could be pleasurable because it is in that general area, but there are no organs directly associated with that area that would be stimulated by touching.

It has lots of nerve endings. Most of the men I have been with enjoy being touched (or whatever) there.
