If you can find a publisher interested in your book, they'll print it at their expense.
If not and you still want to do it, you'll have to pay for it (example: Vantage Press).

You can publish them at www.lulu.com and order them as needed on a per book basis.

The only way a publisher would pick it up and pay is if it is already selling independently or if the story is something marketable.

I've written some fiction and will pay to see it in book form.

Good Luck

You publish a novel by submitting to publishing companies. If they like it, THEY publish it at no expense to you.

You should NEVER pay to have your novel published, unless you are using a vanity press. Publishing companies will never ask you to pay them to read your manuscript or anything else.

If you want to publish your own novel yourself without having to pay anything, I suggest you look into http://lulu.com
