Alright, now i'm not saying he will, or he is... there's a reason why i put the "If" in there.

Would you wish you have the 100 Mill back? Or would you give him another season?

A silly subject? Baseball isn't silly, it's cool!

Honestly, I hope he is a complete bust. It sickens me, the amount of cash thrown at these players and agents, when that money could be put back into the community. You can't blame the players totally, but why would someone pay another $100 million to play a game. I love baseball but this kind of stuff turns me off. Oh, by the way, if he is a bust, let the Red Sox stew about it for the rest of his contract.

I live in Minnesota, and am a Twins and Red Sox fan equally. The Red Sox have a lineup that will support Dice-K and he will win 14 - 16 games this year and go from there to better years ahead. IF he doesn't reach that in his first year he will be given another year to prove his mettle. He'd look good playing for the Twins either way, but Gardy would ruin him; just like our injured ace.

in the end, its not going to cost them 100 mill for him, they are going to be getting a buttload of money from all of the asian fans that they are going to be getting now. yankees make (i heard) 21 million a year from matsui, and matsui was the hitting god over there, and dice k is the pitching god, so the bottom line os that the red sox will be making a ton of money back.

I wouldn't have personal feelings about such a silly subject. I would hate it that my Sox wasted the money though. You should pose this question to Theo Epstein.

That would be really bad if that happened. I would probably give him another season but after that season i would be mad. GO RED SOX!!!!!

Putting that much money into a player who has never played in the MLB is a HUGE risk. But hey, it's not your money, right?
