Let's think it through.
Conservatives value, above all else, God, country, religion, order, the flag (and other symbols of patriotism), conformity to authority, militarism, judgment, and punishment.
Notice that these values are the same for both American conservatives and conservatives of other nations, including Iranian conservatives, Arab conservatives, and muslim terror groups.
When you value your group, your god, and your point of view over all others, and insist that all must conform to your view, then it is not a difficult step to conclude that those who are different are *evil* and must be eliminated.

My question is, how did we subdue the Nazi's in Germany, or the imperialists in japan, during WWII? We surely didn't just reach out to them, talk to them, befriend them. We killed them, we forced democracy upon them, and we intimidated them. Now both are very strong economic powers, and neither would dare attack us.
The same is true for the islamonazis, who want to destroy us, have attacked us many times before, and will surely do it again if given the chance. Talking and happy feelings wont get them to stop. Fighting them will.
Its this liberal happy speak that is making this war drag on so long, because our men and women are afraid to kill anyone, lest they be tried (like the Hadatha killings) and sentenced. This is a war, not some Liberal Sesame Street earth day parade. People will die, and islamofacists must die, before Americans can be safe.

We tried negotiating.
We tried UN resolutions and sanctions.
We've seen the consistent violation of 'cease-fires' by terrorist groups around the world.
We've been kicked in the teeth on numerous occasions.
And you complain that we fight back?

Witnesses to crimes don't testify when their dead. Killing creates chaos--the whole divide and conquer thing. Adolescent fear of folks with box cutters which causes mass exaggeration.
