i have this book and it it in spanish and i want to be able to read it and understand it.

I feel is the best translation place. but sometimes it does not translate the correct word, because some words have different meaning. you can try a paid site that would translate it by a person, not a computer...

my word on the computer has a thing where i go to tools and press languages and pick what languages i want it to translate to and from and that is how i translate my Spanish.

yes, they have one for google too! go to www.google.com and select language tools on the right of the search box. the rest should be simple enough.
