Talent for talent the Thrashers have a slightly better team. Offensively they are superior to Nashville, goaltending is very close and defensively the preds are better. But right now the team that is better built for the playoffs is Nashville. They have a better overall balance, more experienced players and were built specifically for playoff style hockey. Both are very good and fun to watch teams and Atlanta should be the better team over the long haul but for this years stanley Cup playoffs the Predators will be a force capable of making a run for the Cup.

Atlanta has some of the best snipers in the league with Hossa and Kovulpuke, but Nashville also has some great veteran talents in Kariya, Arnott and Sullivan. I would have to give the nod to Nashville, mainly because im a season ticket holder for the Bluejackets and have seen much more of them then I have Atlanta. Lehtonen continue's his pace, he may make Atlanta a dark horse in the East

Nashville. They're both pretty even, but I'm going with the Preds just because they don't have as much media pressure as the Thrashers.
