These teams in no particular order will have a chance.
USC, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, LSU.
ONe team that has no chance again is Notre Dame. . . they suck . . they'll start the season overated again and will finish the season by losing their tenth straight bowl game. This will break their own record of nine straight bowl losses which they will set tonight when LSU Piss Pounds them.

Tennessee Volunteers. Erik Ainge will have a great year and win the Heisman! Tennessee also has the 6th ranked high school running back in the nation going there next year. They will have LeMarcus Coker, Arian Foster and the other guy. haha.
I'm an insane Tennessee fan so I'm not sure if I believe my own predictions. But I do believe Tennessee will be in the top 5, or at least the top 10 for all of next year.

Michigan has the best chance to get there next year with there team, they are going to want it the most after losing to USC and Ohio State. Plus, they have most of there offense returning next year. Just because they are losing a lot of their defence doesn't mean anything, b/c Ohio State lost 8 defencive players. Michigan will get there, but they may not win w/ Lloyd Carr as their coach. Ohio State is not getting there. They are losing their top 2 QBs.

Early favorites: LSU, USC, Michigan.
Dark horses: West Virginia, Auburn, Florida.
Ohio St. and Notre Dame will not compete because they both are losing many key players. Both will still be competitive, but won't win any championships.

I'm going for PSU--haha. But I did predict that they would make it to the BCS last year, and that turned out well :) And now that their QB looks like a QB, they may have a decent shot at least at a Big 10 title.

I'd rather have Florida win, but Ohio State, to me, seems to have the edge. However, I'm a casual football fan so I don't know. I just think Ohio State will win it because of how well they have played this year.
Prediction: Ohio State 20, Florida 17

Hmmm......seeing how 2008 BCS is a YEAR away? I'm gonna predict that the WEST VIRGINIA MOUNTAINEER'S will go UNDEFEATED and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

USC. USC don't need an all star player or heisman to make it in the top 5 rank, unlike ohio st, it needs troy smith to rank number 1.
