The only thing I have read about this is from Omni magazine about 20 years ago. It covered more about controlling your dreams but it did mention that we as humans would have to evolve into a greater brain capacity.

No. That 90% of your brain is for making sure you're still breathing, your heart is still beating, and so on. Only a small percentage is actually used to process thoughts. You already have full potential of your brain, and even if it was all "thinking" parts, you still wouldn't be able to do anything unnatural that humans normally can't do. Take it easy-- you're using as much of your brain as you can; taking into consideration, of course, that you're not a liberal democrat with a warped sense of thinking.

You are using the 'other' 90%.

Brain imaging research techniques such as PET scans (positron emission tomography) and fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) clearly show that the vast majority of the brain does not lie fallow. Indeed, although certain minor functions may use only a small part of the brain at one time, any sufficiently complex set of activities or thought patterns will indeed use many parts of the brain. Just as people don't use all of their muscle groups at one time, they also don't use all of their brain at once. For any given activity, such as eating, watching television, making love, or reading, you may use a few specific parts of your brain. Over the course of a whole day, however, just about all of the brain is used at one time or another.

you do use 100 percent of your brain. That saying that you only use 10% is a bunch of crap. While you only use certain sections of your brain for certain processes (memory, judgement, movement and so on) the brain is interconnected and the sections interact (like remembering where to walk)

First, try and use the 10% you use now to its full potential.

Dude, I wish we can do that stuff. But if we can use our whole brains, we'd be able to be like finding cures for stuff or reading people's minds or bending spoons with our minds or something like that.

No, it has been scientifically proven if you use too much of your brain at one time you will have Major seizures and you'll go brain dead.

when you feel a fart coming, hold it in. the gas then releases through your system and ultimately to your head where it releases hidden stores of brain matter...... The rest is up to you to use it or not......
