at first you think your life has ended and you will never be able to get through the day. but has time goes by. you will start to understand and realise why exactly the relationship did come to a end. after that you will still miss them or even feel love still but will not want to be with them anymore. after that you start not to miss them so much and realise maybe you could be with someone else and be happy even if the new relationship is not serious and just fun. after that stage all you will be left with is brief thoughts every so often about that ex and all that will make you do is a smile, a smile that your life has improved and your broken heart is mended but most importantly that experience has made you wiser. wiser in terms that you will be able to make better choices in future relationships you will know what works and what doesn't. my four rules are 1 never phone them when drunk. 2 never have sex with them after the relationship has ended.3 never slag them off ( keep your dignity) 3 never get off with anyone or enter a new relationship so soon after. you will just look stupid to your ex 4 make plans to improve your life for example new collage course or job or just go on Holiday. you will then realise that you have grown as a person and learn from your mistakes and that will ultimately make you happy.

It depends on what the heart broken is made of! Emotionally strong people usually heal with time faster than the weak ones.

Yep, it does. Keep busy, do things, get a new hobby. It will seem like everything reminds you of him/her but just get out and do things. You'll be fine.
