i'm very pear shaped

Running and biking are the best ways. Also a cardio kick-boxing class could help. My friends and I use to do one for 5-7 weeks before Spring Breaks and Summer started. It helped, and we kept up our running too.

I am pear shaped as well. I go to the gym and work out my thighs by doing this thing. Not sure what it's called, but I will explain what you do and what happens.

What the device is, it's like a chair that it bent with weights attatched to the bottom of it. You sit in the chair, and slide your feet under the weights, sit back and position yourself properly (someone at a gym can help you do this aswell). make sure the weight is adjusted to hwo much ever your legs can lift, then extend your legs like you were going to put them up on a foot rest while sitting on a couch. CAUTION: DO NOT EXTEND LEGS FULL LENGTH, MAKE SURE THEY ARE BENT OR ELSE YOU COULD WRECK YOUR KNEES!

I have the same problem.I am also big busted so I guess I'm more hour glass shaped with huge thunder thighs.Do lots of squats I'm doing them from biggest looser show and it really works.Squats and lunges and Walking.Walk walk, walk and more walking that is what 3 trainers told me to do.So in combination to the squats lunges and walking I get a pretty good work out.

You're in luck one of my latest blog entries is on loosing the thunder in your thighs and getting them more toned. I had massive thighs and itty pitty calves but Ive been following this work out routine and am looking alot better

Squats and lunges help shape legs and bum. You need to lose fat to see any definition.
