That's a terrible way to motivate someone: I don't love you because of X. Sure, if you're insecure it might motivate you to change, but who wants an insecure person anyway? If he wants an insecure person, and you are that person...well, get ready to have a new "I don't love you because" every month.
If it's not that, then maths are important to him. Perhaps he's serious about your relationship, and is thinking about a future with you -- and the idea of raising a family with someone who is bad at maths makes him think that (a) your kids won't be good at maths, or (b) you won't share an interest that is important to him, or (c) you don't have the discipline and/or intelligence to keep his interest.
Be glad he's being honest with you.

If you're not "bad at English" then you are certainly bad at typing if it would have taken that much work to write it out.
If you're serious, forget about him. He is making up a lame excuse because he isn't interested anymore.

Who cares? Who died and made him the judge of you? A lot of people suck at math... Perhaps it's time for you to move on , there are a lot of much less judgemental people out there who won't care if you can add or not.. Good Luck

.... hire a private tutor for extra tuition,.... or look up the math's system's, or methodology at a local or technical library.... Your'e partner need's to realise,.. positive encouragement, is far more effective,.. than negative or silly threat's.... Follow these math's system's through,.. and i'm sure you'll eventually master them...

what grade are you? if you graduated your maths couldn't be that bad. any way a guy should love not love because you are smart or dumb he love every piece of you! dump him before he should dumps you ! you want some guts!
