Don't waste your time. They are bogus. The only true measure of IQ is done with standardized testing by a licensed person, usually a psychologist.

There are several tests you can take online that are fairly valid, actually.
1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/testthenation/iq/ This was created and normed by a real psychologist for BBC. It has been validated on millions of people and is relatively accurate. However, it contains some culturally biased questions.
2. http://www.iqtest.dk/main.swf Created by Mensa Denmark to mimic the real test, Ravens APM. The test is considered culturally unbiased and is similar to an entrance test Mensa frequently uses.
The first test has a ceiling of 146 and the second test, 145. Scores beyond this are unmeasurable on these tests.
Here are two others you might be interested in. They are difficult and can measure very high IQ's. However, be aware that the scale this test uses gives more points than the other two tests (This test uses an SD of 24 and the previous test, SD of 15). As such, your score on these tests (should) be higher; that doesn't mean you're smarter though ;) Scroll down on this page to see a conversion chart. The right side is SD 24 and the left the SD you want. http://www.ellhnas.com/mnrightte2.htm

http://hjem.get2net.dk/mick.langhoff/flash/iq1.swf
These tests have a much higher ceiling of about 182 (which using their scale is 223).
Enjoy and good luck!

search for MENSA.
You will fail - everybody does.
I'm a lifetime member of mensa and the web-test won't give me more than 95%. Don't know why, perhaps it's because it's un-moderated and you could cheat.
Remember that there's more than one type of Intelligence - you could be good with words, or numbers, or pattern recognition - they all count, you don't have to be "gifted" in more than one.
Contact MENSA.
