depends.

Like suspense and goriness? Go for Stephen King. I read Cujo a couple weeks ago, and I'm still looking over my shoulder every three steps.

Suspense only? Dean Koontz. He loves to use big words, but if you can get over that, you'll love him. "From the Corner of His Eye" is a great starter.

Romance? Like Jennifer said, I'd go for Twilight and New Moon. Both are wonderful books, and really show how far someone would go for the person they love.

Give 'em a shot.

Find books in subjects you are interested and set aside some time every day or week and just read..If you are reading what you like then reading is not a chore.
