People will take a level three's answers more seriously then they would a level one.
it means the more points you have the better your answers must be, if you are like a level 7 then you spend most of your time answering questions and you must be good at it, so people will take your answers more seriously.

You can't rate someone else question or answer until you are at least at level two the limit on how many questions you can answer or vote on or number of comments you are aloud to make goes up with the levels upper one don't have limits after you get high enough.

After you hit level 4 it gets harder and harder because the number of points needed to go up a level multiplies exponentially. Only people who spend 10 hrs a day on YA actually ever get up a level after 5. You start to lose interest...

Sense of accomplishment. I have to admit though...since getting to level 6 I realize getting to 7 will take a long time...so I'm kinda over it.

No, not really, Ryan. Put a hamster on a treadmill and he'll make the wheel go round and round. On the other hand, it's an opportunity to share knowledge and opinions. Think of it as a bulletin board with rankings.

I don't think of it as a big deal, but just a lot of fun to keep answering a variety of questions.

The higher the level the more questions you can ask and questions you can answer.
