We already have a year-round tan. That's why so many black people look younger as they get older. We don't have to deal with the skin damage that comes from tanning.

I don't think I would call it tanning. I would say that some of us do enjoy soaking up the sun. Some lighter skinned afr americans like the golden skin tone that the sun gives them. Some of us darker afr americans like the natural bronze skin tone that we get from sitting out in the sun. I would say that we are using the sun for the same thing we may get slightly different results.

I used to love the sun and would sit out in it all the time; however I now get sun burn/poisoning! What gives?.

i use to work at a tanning salon and black people do tan.

They go tanning to even out there skin tone. and help there complection. but they can only go 3 or 4 times a month,

white people tan to not look so washed out and pale. . . . and even out there tone also. . . .

black people already have the melone(sp) in there skin it at the surface. . . . white people go tanning to bring it to the surface to become darker. . .

we the human have melanina under the skin that give us the color in reaction to the sun they have more melanina and they can get more sun and dont get burn as fast as a withe perosn that can have fever for the sun or headaches, because thats a form to humans to survive in the different conditions during the past For example in places with sun people need less hair in their bodies a bacause they are from africa they need that color to survive the temperatures of their weather, like in the caribean.

Since I'm black I do not find you so funny, however I do find your question unsincere and more than a little racist. I think that you should be ashamed of yourself in 2007 to air such seemingly racist thoughts in public. I would really appreciate it if you would not do that anymore, ok?

Thank you.

LOL. Some of us do. I love when summer rolls around, then I get that golden brown color. Winter rolls around, and I lose a few shades.
