I've tried pushing the interior light button 4 times quickly, I've tried turing the light switch dial back, but nothing seems to work. They are driving me nuts.

You can't without doing some on-board programming or removing some components. These are sensor monitored from the top of the dash to the BCM of the truck as are all the lights. When the truck's sensor detect a light factor that is greater than a predetermined point and there is no headlights on request the BCM enables a relay to turn the DRL on. The simplest way to disable this safety feature would be to remove the bulbs, however this might set off the internal diagnostics of the BCM. Or you could remove the relay from its place in the under hood fuse panel, but I think that this particular relay has several functions. The dealer's scanner has the capability of programming the BCM to disable that feature, but I can't understand why you would want to do this. You can't even see the lights when they are on, but that's my opinion. Good luck.

Depends on the year of the truck. You can either pull the fuse marked "DRL" or you can simply remove the light bulbs from the sockets. Look in the owner's manual for a diagram of the fuse panel. If you take out the fuse you will disable all the functions that fuse controls such as automatic lights, etc. If you just remove the bulbs all the other stuff still works. I removed the bulbs from my '04 Chevy. I don't like DRL's myself. I am smart enough to know when I need lights and when i don't!

On my 02 1500 there is a small panel on the left of the steering wheel. Then a switch to turn off your lights during the day. I think it's a 4 position switch. Good Luck

There has 2 B a # of websites that 'specialize' in your particular Vehicle...just GOOGLE it. Somewhere on your car is a 'Transponder' or a Grid of some kind that can 'read' that it's Daytime. For example, a friend I know taped a piece of paper over his, & they don't come on anymore. You could also call the Chevy Dealer's Service Dep't...or walk in2 the Parts Dep't & someone there will know; or @ least will talk 2 U about it...

You don't. Daytime running lights. When the truck is running, they are on. It's a safety feature.

Simplest thing to do is remove the bulbs from the light sockets. I did this to my '04 Silverado as soon as I got it home. Never had a problem. I despise DRL's...grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
